Vanessa Tirabassi is currently a senior at the University of Kentucky and has been part of the Psychology Scholars honors program since her freshman year. Vanessa is double-majoring in psychology and sociology and is also working toward a minor in anthropology and criminology. Since her sophomore year she has actively participated in psychology research, covering broad topics from spousal rape and jury perception to religion and morality. In 2014 she presented a poster of her research in spousal rape at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research. Presently Vanessa is working on her psychology honors thesis exploring the relationship between religious belief and finger ratio. She hopes to eventually get a doctorate degree in clinical psychology with a focus on abnormal psychology.
